Unicron, also known as the Lord of Chaos, the Chaos Bringer, and the Planet Eater, was the true main antagonist in The Transformers: The Movie and the evil brother of Primus, creator of the Transformers. Like all Transformers, Unicron has an alternative mode, of which is a gigantic planet that can eat smaller planets. Unicron's robot mode reaches planetary proportions, as it is larger than his planet mode. Unicron was defeated when Primus created the first thirteen Prime Transformer robots, one of whom betrayed Primus and became Unicron's ally.
Unicron would later offer the severely battle damaged Megatron a new body (dubbed "Galvatron") and new troops to command in exchange for destroying the Autobot Matrix.

- Although Unicron is neither affiliated with the Autobots or the Decepticons, some Takara/Hasbro toys label him as a Decepticon.
- The name "Unicron" is actually "unicorn" with the "r" and the "o" swapped.
- In the First Transformers Series Transformers: Generation 1 was Unicron created by Primacron.
