General article requirements
- The first time the name of the page is mentioned in the first paragraph, it must be in BOLD text.
- The page should have an infobox template if it is an article for a fictional character.
- The page should have the second version of the infobox template if it is an article for an alleged species of alien.
- If you have obtained information from another source, please cite it.
- Please use proper grammar (i.e., do not write random words in all caps, make sure to use paragraphs, do not capitalize random words, do not use slang).
- Be sure to add links to other pages on the Alien Wiki, as to avoid the article looking like one great big wall of text.
- When adding the main photo thumbnail of an article and adding photo thumbnails within paragraphs, we generally prefer that you keep them to the right side of the page. However, if multiple photos are in the same paragraph, it might not be a bad idea to have some photos on the left and others on the right.
- All articles should be written from a worldwide point of view. Please do not write articles from the POV of one individual or group of people.
